The first purple candle of Advent was the Promise Candle that reminded us to have HOPE in God's promises. He always fulfills His promises to us! As we lit the second, Bethlehem candle, we remembered the FAITH of Mary and Joseph as they traveled to Bethlehem.
(These are a few fun things I found that can enhance your Christmas Celebration )
This is my favorite candle! The third pink candle is a reminder of the Joy that was felt by the shepherds (and us!) when they were told that the Messiah had been born. Imagine the amazing sight of Angels covering the sky singing God's praises!

Pray Together:
Lord, Thank you for choosing the humble shepherds to share your amazing news of Christ's birth! It shows us that you are not looking for those who are important and successful, but those who have open, humble hearts and seek to worship you! We praise you for sending your Son to us! Please help us to tell those around us Your Good News, the way the shepherds did! Amen
